The work life report is a document that allows to know not only the contributions to the Social Security, but also serves to certify in a certain sense all the professional trajectory. That is why more and more companies are starting to ask for this document from job applicants, since it shows all the companies in which you have worked throughout your life. This document shows the time you have worked, the type of contract you have had and your social security contributions.
2. Request via internet: another way of requesting the employment history is via internet, through the electronic headquarters of the social security. If we decide to use this method, there are in turn four other ways to obtain our work history:

Every person in Chile, depending on their personal situation and faced with a risk or life event, should know their rights or alternatively, if they do not know them, they should know where or to whom to turn for such information or advice.
To ensure that society provides protection to individuals and their households, access to medical care and guarantees income security, the International Labor Organization (ILO) defined Social Security as a Human Right.

At the beginning of the 20th century, social insurance was established and international conventions were signed.
Social Security is an instrument of social justice. In Chile, in the event of old age, unemployment, illness, disability, work accidents, maternity or loss of a breadwinner, the State has provided a set of laws, policies and social protection measures. This set is called the Pension System, available to people who at different stages of their lives must face a contingency that prevents them from generating income. In this sense, it is intended to anticipate or «foresee» the future.
Citizen’s folder
he Social Security has expanded the services and information available to citizens on the Import@ss portal. This tool of the General Treasury of the Social Security that was launched last April already allowed to consult the main data of all workers, as well as to process the registration or cancellation of a person employed in the household. From now on, citizens who access their personal area through https://portal.seg-social.gob.es can consult all the details in real time of their working life and the contribution bases used to calculate their benefits.
Among the new information included in the portal is the detail of the employment relationship of employees with their company, from the working day to the type of contract, contribution group, applicable collective bargaining agreement, as well as the insurance company. It also provides information on the employee’s monthly Social Security contribution and the amount paid by the company.
