Josh Kovacs (Ben Stiller) is the manager of one of the most luxurious and secure buildings in New York, in the heart of Columbus Circle. On the most ostentatious floor of all, the penthouse, lives Arthur Shaw (Alan Alda), a billionaire Wall Street tycoon who is under house arrest for having stolen two billion dollars from his investors, in addition to having swindled many of the building’s workers, taking their pensions and leaving them facing an uncertain future.
