We use email every day for everything: registering, making inquiries, sending job applications, communicating with our loved ones or business partners. Sooner or later one wonders, how can I know if someone has read my email? It happens to all of us, because there are times when we really need to know because of its importance.

Mailtrack comes from combining mail with track. This extension for Gmail -we are sorry to tell you that there is no version available for other email providers- which is the world’s leading email service allows you to take control of your email communications.

At the top right of the email client we have access to the plugin panel, from where we can activate the different modules and access the activity panel with statistical data, as well as support.

We have tested the Mailtrack Pro version and therefore we see all the features of the plugin unlocked. For example, at the bottom we can enable the tracking options in the Gmail client for Android.

For example, you sent an email and you urgently need to know if that person checked it or not. You started to do something else and forgot what you were doing until you see the Boomerang notification that says something like «Hey, don’t forget that you are tracking this email».

To finish with this tool, it has another very interesting feature that allows you to save your emails without showing them in your inbox and show them when you have programmed them. Imagine that you have a very important email but you want to answer it quietly in a few hours, with Boomerang you will only have to schedule it and it will appear in your Gmail inbox whenever you want.

Its main function is to let you know if the recipient has read your email. To do so, it will alert you in the form of a pop-up window on your desktop or you can receive alerts in your email. When you install the extension, you will see in your Gmail inbox two checkboxes in each of the e-mails, if both are in green it means that you have received and read it.

How to use mailtrack in gmail

To indicate this, it uses a method very similar to that of the popular messaging application WhastApp. In this case, a tick means that the email has been sent successfully while the famous double check indicates that the recipient has opened the message in question.

In relation to privacy, MailTrack does not have access to the content of the emails nor does it pass information to third parties. The Chrome extension accesses the essential information to trace and classify emails, i.e. the sender and recipient addresses, the links included and the subject of the message.
