existential pop

The song that served as the theme song for La bola de cristal, entitled «Abracadabra», was written by José María Cano, a personal friend of the program director Lolo Rico. The demo of the song was recorded with the voice of Ana Torroja, singer of the group Mecano in which the composer of the song was also a member. However, for the version that was finally taken as good for the tune, the voice was provided by Olvida Gara, better known as Alaska.

As can be easily appreciated, part of the melody of the tune of The Crystal Ball is taken from Captain Sensible’s biggest solo hit, «Wot». Raymond Burns, better known as Captain Sensible, made his name as guitarist and songwriter for the British band The Damned, the first to record a punk single. Already in 1978 he had released his first solo single, «Jet Boy, Jet Girl», which also appeared as the B-side of The Damned’s single «Waiting for the Blackout».

it is not a sin

While the focus of Rune Factory 4 is undoubtedly on growing and harvesting crops and flowers, it is also possible to turn your farm into a ranch by taming and recruiting monsters. These handy creatures have a few uses: they can help on the farm or even in the field.

You can build monster barns with orders in the main hall of the castle. At the beginning of the game, you can build a maximum of two monster barns and each one will have four monsters. Eventually, you will unlock the option to expand your farm with an order that adds a new field: each new field can contain two monster barns.

Taming monsters is a relatively simple test. When in the field, simply throw an object at them; they will get a sandwich on their head with a heart inside…. It will gradually enlarge until it becomes a skull or a giant heart.

If the heart turns into a skull, you have failed and must try again. If it becomes a very large heart, on the other hand, you will have successfully tamed the monster and will be asked to name it. They will be added to your party automatically, although you can talk to them to send them back to your farm.
